Some years ago a handful of enthusiastic experts all around the world have started to
build their individual micro helicopter using extremely lightweight components
from
WES-Technik. Now such a lightweight helicopter is available as a top-quality kit -
affordable for everybody and can be built successfully within a few hours.
The Helistar is designed and produced
at Mikro Flug Technik company. The kit contains all components necessary to build the Helistar
including a top quality coreless motor
Micro DC1724SR for the main rotor and a Micro
4.5-0.6 tail motor – Receiver, Servos, Controller, Battery and Gyro are not contained
in the kit!.
You can order the appropriate components from WES-Technik. The Helistar
kit contains a detailed building instruction so that you can build it within a
few hours.
Critical components such as rotorhead and swashplate are preassembled in order to ensure
proper function from the very beginning.
Controlability and flight characteristics of this micro-helicopter are
excellent and can survive in the comparison with its bigger brothers.
The Helistar can be
flown In- and outdoor – provided there is no wind. After a few training flights the Helistar
can be flown in small rooms –
even flights above the dining table will be no problem.
Based on the very small mass the Helistar will forgive you hard landings –
even unintended contacts with plants in the living room or the amateur pilots body will be
a problem neither for the Helistar itself nor for persons.
The experienced pilot
